This Saturday is a special day for Jassim and I.... We're getting married!

Jassim and I met at a real estate networking event back in 2017, before I even got my real estate license, but who knew not only a new career, but also a lasting relationship was discretely budding. We’ve now been together for 8 years, and have grown through many life transitions along the way - new homes, new careers, new challenges and new milestones.

As I prepare for tomorrow, sitting silently in our living room, I’ve also been reflecting on the place that has quietly shaped so much of our story: our home in Lyndhurst.

Over the years, we’ve poured a lot of love into our house. We’ve painted walls, updated spaces, and laughed our way through its many quirks (these clanging 100-year-old pipes never quite let us forget its old soul). It’s not perfect, but it’s ours, and it's had a very special place in our journey so far and for years to come.

That’s the beautiful thing about a home. It doesn’t have to be flawless to be meaningful. It’s the place where we celebrate milestones, weather challenges, and find comfort in the everyday moments, quiet Sunday mornings, late-night hang outs (that's anytime past 9PM for me), and holidays with family.

Throughout the years, I have helped many clients look for a larger home for their growing families, downsize from their now empty-nest, find their first place of their own after moving out of their parent's house, and the list goes on.

Buying a home isn’t always just about square footage or a good deal, it’s about creating the space where life will unfold. Where kids will take their first steps, where traditions will form, where laughter and love will echo through the years and embed itself into the fibers of the plaster walls.

Sometimes, it’s easy to take those basics for granted, having a roof over our heads, running water, a safe place to come back to and see loved ones at the end of the day, but, today I feel deeply grateful for all of it.

I’m reminded how important it is to help others find that same foundation (pun intended). A house may just be bricks and mortar, but a home is where memories are made and love grows.

I’d love to help you find not just a house, but a home, a place where your own story can unfold too.

With Love,
